Omg I also made my own Tomodachi Life 3! I got so sick of waiting for a new one that I just ended up trying to make ideas for my own and your ideas are similar to mine which I thought was pretty cool. I also really like the approach you took to the customization for Miis. I never really liked the Miitopia customization because it always felt off, and I think it’s because of what you said. And also it’s just way more fun to create weird Miis while trying to make them look like anime or video game characters. And that’s how we get such classic Miis.

I love wii music but thats just mostly nostalgia, and because i take things slow and like to chill and have fun times with friends. Im not the type of person to ask for every wii game to be like wii sports resort, even though literally one of my favorite wii games of all time.

Another thing about Neksdor is that it's far more boring compared to the other 3 areas in the first half. There's a lack of new characters in comparison (only non townsfolk character we're introduced to is the genie, compared to the usual 3-4), and whenever i think of the first half of the main story my mind skips over Neksdor as a whole.

I personally do like the reset, as it allows you to create a whole new dynamic with new Jobs/team members, though I do wish there was some sort of system that made it clearer that you’ll get those party member back so you don’t choose the same Jobs as your previous party had. I don’t think they should lock you out of it entirely but something like a pop-up message saying “a previous party member already had this Job, and there’s a chance to rescue them. Do you wish to continue?”

So I've had this island since 2016. A couple months ago, I was booting up tomodachi life to show my island to my new band members I had just met. Then the worst screen I've ever seen pops up. "Due to an error in the saving process, your data has been corrupt. We will have to delete your saved data." and the only option was "okay." I cried when I got home. All my saved data, my nostalgia, my CHILDHOOD, MY 14 MARRIED COUPLES, gone. Playing my new data has never felt the same. Then one day, one of my miis ask "what happens if the saved data gets deleted?" And i cried. There's also that one time when I was playing it at midnight and I watched a dream. And the Mii woke up, went "gah!" LOOKED ME DEAD IN THE EYE, and then went back to sleep. Haven't played at night ever since. 😭

Knowing how reliable YT is I'm surprised any of the hyperlinks still worked.

Really solid video, I haven’t watched it entirely yet but it’s really well put together and fair so far! I know you made a rule to not watch shows based on existing IP, but I feel like you wouldve really liked “Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters” as it’s kind of like the spectacular spider-man and is surprisingly solid

This video makes me excited for a game thats not announced (yet?) My only nitpicks is the name seems like a bit of a mouthful, a bit too long. And while I agree with another comment that it's a bit difficult to tell where things are, I still adore how the place looks just so full of life. It's packed with so many lively places to go and look at. Last nitpick is just me having the constant urge to center the tv on the news tower lol Otherwise, your amazing hardwork paid off very well, it looks so fun and I'd buy Companions in a heartbeat!

The thumbnail hooked me in because I just started playing an emulated version of tomodachi life and when I got to the screen where you're supposed to make yourself (since citra doesn't have a built in mii channel ofc there wouldn't be any mii maker data) it showed me that creepy face glitch and I literally just stared at my screen in shock like hello?? It's late at night and this stuff is happening now?? Really freaked me out ngl 😭

I kind of like the idea, but also, don't you think this means there's *too* much to do? A lot of us played Tomodachi life due to its comedic environment and its simplicity, but adding hobbies and things like that takes away the simplicity and might scare away new and even returning players. I myself, believe that if I were to get this game on the switch, I'd be paralyzed with not knowing what to do since there's so much to do every day. On my 3DS, all I have to worry about is making sure the miis are satisfied. Just watching you tour the island with us gave me a headache because there's simply too much on the island it starts to feel cluttered. I do believe the idea of having a school is awesome and extending the wait period for kids to grow up makes sense.
